Do I need a big email list to get started?

No. A small list of real customers who actually know you beats a big cold one every time. We work with whatever you have — even if it's a spreadsheet of past customers — and grow it properly from there. We never buy lists, and we won't email anyone who hasn't agreed to hear from you.
Which email platform do you use?

Whatever suits you. If you're already on Mailchimp, Brevo, Klaviyo or similar, we work in that. If you're starting from scratch, we'll recommend a platform that fits your size and budget and set it up for you. Either way the account and the list stay in your name — they're yours, not ours.
How do you stay on the right side of the Spam Act?

Australia's Spam Act 2003 has three rules: you need the recipient's consent, every email must clearly identify your business as the sender, and every email needs a working unsubscribe that's honoured promptly. We build all three into every send, keep your list clean, and process unsubscribes straight away.
How is email marketing priced?

Ongoing email work is delivered through the Content Updates add-on — $100 per hour per month on top of Managed Hosting at $15/mo, and you choose 1, 2 or 3+ hours. One hour a month covers a simple regular newsletter; more hours cover campaigns and follow-ups. Bigger one-off campaigns are quoted on scope before we start.

Open and click rates are useful direction but easy to game and increasingly unreliable, so we treat them as a guide, not the goal. You get a short plain-English note after each send on what happened and what we'd do next.
